Chump Change $

Chloe is a big AE fan--American Eagle, that is. We are also huge fans of their sister store, Aerie. And what are even BIGGER fans of? Bargains.

Shirt: Aerie $7 (sale special)

Scoring "steals" doesn't mean skimping on style (Thanks, mom! She taught us our shopping ways). It's almost a reflex: the minute we walk in a store, we head straight for the sale section in the back. Why pay full price for something when you can get the same piece for half the cost a mere 2 months later? Seems silly to us.

Shirt: Aerie $7 (sale special) - Skirt: Aerie $5 (sale special) - Sandals: Michael Kors jelly flip flops
Cross necklace: a gift
We've found that that's the case for most chain stores (like AE). As long as it's not a super popular sell-out item, what's being proudly displayed on the floor will be sale-section in no time ;) Patience is key!

Chloe's style is very relaxed...casual cool. She likes simple, classic pieces that are comfortable when putting together every-day outfits. I wasn't a huge believer in the concept until she brought home super soft tees from Aerie in a multitude of colors. Needless to say, I'm sold ;)

If you know Chloe, you may be aware of her cross necklace obsession. This silver version is one I'm particularly fond of. If you know me, you know I'm not a huge necklace wearer. But I do love a necklace with a long chain.

You didn't think I'd get through this whole post without mentioning the stunning key element, did you? ;)

ABOUT THIS MAXI SKIRT. It's a soft, body-hugging jersey material. It's a speckle-spun grey, and GET THIS: only cost $5.

The moral of the story? Yeah, sometimes it's annoying to comb through the clearance racks. But with a good eye, you can score some serious savings.

Questions? Thoughts? We want to hear from YOU!
